  • Applicants have to be resident in Ireland to apply for Garda Vetting

  • Forename & Surname should match signature and no initials please.

  • No date of Birth

  • Full addresses please: This is a common area where applicants fail

  • ALL DETAILS YEAR FROM YEAR TO PRESENT DAY

  • NO GAPS IN YEARS

  • Unclear writing

  • Convicted of an offence in the Republic of Ireland or elsewhere Y/N

  • If yes, please provide details

  • Forms should be signed & dated

  •  The position being applied for is now mandatory and should be included 

  • Forms that are over 6 months in process should be updated on the front and back of form
